This is a private, convenient, and secure Tele-health service where you have the opportunity to meet virtually from home, or wherever you prefer, with a Licensed Therapist specifically trained to help you improve during this challenging period.

+What does Tele-Pain Therapy treat?
Tele-Pain Therapy is most helpful for chronic pain that lasts more than 3-6 months, including back and neck pain, headaches, abdominal pain, joint pain and emotional pain (among others) after routine medical treatment has not worked.
+What doesn’t it treat?
  • Tele-Pain Therapy is not right for you if you have not had a thorough medical evaluation by a doctor or qualified medical professional. It’s also not meant for recent acute injuries or conditions.
  • Tele-Pain Therapy does not prescribe any medications, including DEA controlled substances.

+Why is Tele-Pain Therapy better than conventional treatments?

Tele-Pain Therapy teaches you how to break your cycle of pain by teaching you what conventional medicine doesn’t—how to deal with negative emotions like frustration. +Is it hard to use eVisit? Do I need special equipment?

No, eVisit was designed to be very user-friendly. It's a video or mobile chat platform similar to Skype that allows you to have everything you need to work with your therapist. Equipment you’ll need includes:

  • A computer or mobile device (tablet or smartphone)
  • If your computer or mobile device does not have a camera and microphone built-in, then you will need to buy them separately. Most recent computers and mobile devices (within the last 5 years) have these built-in.
+How do you secure my medical information?
The eVisit software is 100% HIPAA compliant, so any personal health information you provide is completely safe and secure.

How to sign up with eVisit

Here’s how to sign up using your desktop computer or laptop:

  1. Open Google Chrome or Firefox on your computer. (These are types of Internet browsers and if you do not have one, you can download Chrome here or Firefox here.)
  2. Using Google Chrome or Firefox, go to the eVisit website.
  3. Create an account.
  4. Fill out your client information.
  5. Click the “Schedule Visit” button to schedule an appointment.
  6. When it’s time for your appointment, log in and click the “Join” button. You’ll be connected to your therapist through 100% HIPAA compliant video chat.

Here’s how to sign up using your smartphone or tablet:

  1. Go to the eVisit signup page.
  2. Create an account.
  3. Fill out your client information.
  4. Click the “Schedule Visit” button to schedule an appointment.
  5. After scheduling a time, a popup will appear for you to download the eVisit app. Click the button to go to your device’s app store and download the “eVisit Telehealth” app.
  6. Open the app and log in using the account credentials you created before.
  7. When it’s time for your appointment, open the app and you’ll see a “Join” button at the bottom of your screen.
  8. Click “Join” to be connected to your therapist through 100% HIPAA compliant video chat.
